The Nature Conservancy and the Institute for Conservation and Sustainable Development of Amazonas (IDEs) are launching, with the German Technical Cooperation (GTZ), the Guide to REDD+ Projects in Latin America, with the aim of identifying the structure and operation of REDD projects - Reduction Emissions from Deforestation and forest degradation, conservation, sustainable management of forests and enhancement of forest stocks (REDD +). The publication presents projects and initiatives related to the theme in Latin American countries and is available for download at www.nature.org/brazil [8], and rely on mapping projects under implementation in several countries, including Bolivia, Brazil, Ecuador, Guatemala, Paraguay and Peru.

A The Nature Conservancy e Instituto de Conservação e Desenvolvimento Sustentável do Amazonas (Idesam) lançam, com a Cooperação Técnica Alemã (GTZ), o Guia de Projetos de Redd+ na América Latina, com o objetivo de identificar a estrutura e o funcionamento de projetos de Redução de Emissões por Desmatamento e da Degradação florestal, conservação, manejo sustentável das florestas e aumento dos estoques florestais (REDD+). A publicação apresenta projetos e iniciativas relacionadas ao tema nos países da América Latina e estará disponível para download no site www.nature.org/brasil [9], além de contar com mapeamento de projetos em fase de implementação em diversos países como Bolívia, Brasil, Equador, Guatemala, Paraguai e Peru.
