SCA and Södra to cut timber production

SCA Timber is curtailing sawmill production by 10% for the rest of the year.

Most of the production limitation is connected with the Christmas and New Year holidays.

New Zealand’s log exports to China account for one-third of country’s timber harvest in 2011

Log exportation from New Zealand continues to rise at a record pace, with almost one-third of the country’s timber harvest being processed at sawmills in China. Ilim Group Expanded Coverage of FSC Forest Management Certificate Over all Leased Timberlands

The Forestry Branch of OJSC Ilim Group in Koryazhma (Arkhangelsk Oblast) has gone through audit verifying the compliance with the FSC Forest Management requirements. ANDRITZ to Reconfigure and Upgrade a Softwood CTMP Line to One of China’s Biggest Hardwood Mechanical Pulping Lines
