-----------------

Hekotek signed new contracts – two log sorting lines are to be supplied to the sawmills of Eastern Siberia (Irkutsk region and Krasnoyarsk area).

One of the two lines will be produced for the new sawmill to be soon launched in Magistralny village of the Irkutsk region. Within this project Hekotek is a partner of the leading German supplier of sawmilling technology – Linck, which is the project prime contractor. Earlier Hekotek and Linck experienced participation in the analogous sawmill construction projects: in Arkhangelsk (Lesozavod 25), in the Irkutsk region (LDK Igirma) and the Far East (Terney Les).

The new log sorting line is to be delivered to the customer by the end of June, its launch to be completed before Siberian frosts. The launch of the complete sawmill with the annual capacity of 120 thousand cubic meters of sawn timber is expected several months afterwards.

The second line is to be delivered to the largest sawmill in Russia (annual capacity making up over 500 thousand cubic meters of sawn timber) – LDK 1 in the city of Lesosibirsk in the Krasnoyarsk area. The timelines of the equipment delivery and launch are almost simultaneous with those announced for the 1st project.
